Introduction
Hello, I’m Zorion. I’m taking CIS195 to build a strong foundation in web development. This site it meant to organize my work into a simple site that I can grow over the term.
My goals for this class are to learn the core HTML/CSS building blocks, practice basic accessibility, and publish working pages each week. I’m also interested in tying my projects to my hobby—working on cars—so I can document repairs and tools as I learn.
Participation & Lab Activities
Below is a list of the modules and topics we'll explore in CIS195. As the term goes on, this section will link to my completed lab activities and participation work for each topic.
- Module 01: The Internet, the Web, and Webpages
- Module 02: HTML Basics
- Module 03: Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)
- Module 04: Web Design Basics
- Module 05: Images and Visual Elements
- Module 06: Planning and Creating Webpage Layouts
- Module 07: Responsive Webpage Layouts and Design
- Module 08: HTML Tables and Grid Basics
- Module 09: Web Form Basics
- Final Exam: Film Festival Project
Each module builds on the last — starting with the structure of webpages, adding design through CSS, and finishing with forms and a final project that ties everything together.
Hobbies
I enjoy working on cars—diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. I plan to post short write-ups with photos of projects, tools I used, and tips that helped. The first posts will likely cover cooling-fan troubleshooting and basic service items.
